A watch is a timepiece that is made to be worn on a person. It is usually a wristwatch, worn on the wrist with a strap or bracelet. In addition to the time, modern watches often display the day, date, month and year, and electronic watches may have many other functions.
Most inexpensive and medium-priced watches used mainly for timekeeping are electronic watches with quartz movements. Expensive, collectible watches valued more for their workmanship and aesthetic appeal than for simple timekeeping, often have purely mechanical movements and are powered by springs, even though mechanical movements are less accurate than more affordable quartz movements.
Before wristwatches became popular in the 1920s, most watches were pocket watches, which often had covers and were carried in a pocket and attached to a watch chain or watch fob. Watches evolved in the 1600s from spring powered clocks, which appeared in the 1400s

Digital camera
A digital camera (also digicam or camera for short) is a camera that takes video or still photographs, or both, digitally by recording images via an electronic image sensor.
Front and back of Canon PowerShot A95
Many compact digital still cameras can record sound and moving video as well as still photographs. Most 21st century cameras are digital.
Digital cameras can do things film cameras cannot: displaying images on a screen immediately after they are recorded, storing thousands of images on a single small memory device, recording video with sound, and deleting images to free storage space. Some can crop pictures and perform other elementary image editing. The optical system works the same as in film cameras, typically using a lens with a variable diaphragm to focus light onto an image pickup device. The diaphragm and shutter admit the correct amount of light to the imager, just as with film but the image pickup device is electronic rather than chemical.
Digital cameras are incorporated into many devices ranging from PDAs and mobile phones (called camera phones) to vehicles. The Hubble Space Telescope and other astronomical devices are essentially specialized digital cameras.

Zippo
A Zippo lighter is a refillable, metal lighter manufactured by Zippo Manufacturing Company of Bradford, Pennsylvania, U.S. Thousands of different styles and designs have been made in the seven decades since their introduction.
George G. Blaisdell founded Zippo Manufacturing Company in 1932, and produced the first Zippo lighter in early 1933, being inspired by an Austrian cigarette lighter of similar design. It got its name because Blaisdell liked the sound of the word "zipper" and "zippo" sounded more modern. On March 3, 1936, patent was granted for the Zippo lighter.
Zippo lighters became popular in the United States military, especially during World War II — when, as the company's website says, Zippo "ceased production of lighters for consumer markets and dedicated all manufacturing to the U.S. military."The Zippo at that time was made of brass, but as this commodity was unobtainable due to the war, Zippo used steel during the war years. While the Zippo Manufacturing Company never had an official contract with the military, soldiers and armed forces personnel insisted that Base exchange (BX) stores carry this sought-after lighter. While it had previously been common to have Zippos with authorized badges, unit crests and division insignia, it became popular among the American soldiers of the Vietnam War, to get their Zippos engraved with personal mottos. These lighters are now sought after collectors items and popular souvenirs for visitors to Vietnam.
After World War II, the Zippo lighter became increasingly used in advertising by companies large and small through the 1960s.Many of the early advertising Zippo lighters are works of art painted by hand, and as technology has evolved, so has the design and finish of the Zippo lighter. The basic mechanism of the Zippo lighter has remained unchanged.
In 2002 Zippo expanded its product line to include a variety of utility-style multi-purpose lighters, known as the Zippo MPL. This was followed in 2005 with the Outdoor Utility Lighter, known as the OUL. These lighters are fuelled with butane. In August 2007 Zippo released a new butane lighter called the Zippo BLU.
A museum called Zippo/Case visitors center is located in Bradford, PA at 1932 Zippo Drive. This 15,000 square foot (1398 m²) building contains rare and custom made Zippo lighters, and also sells the entire Zippo line. The museum was featured on the NPR program Weekend Edition Sunday on January 25, 2009. The museum also contains an enormous collection of Case knives. Since the Zippo company's 60th anniversary in 1992, annual editions have been produced for worldwide Zippo collectors.
From 1949 to 2002 Zippos were also produced in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.Since 1933, over 400,000,000 Zippo lighters have been produced.
In 2009, Zippo announced plans to purchase Ronson, a long-time competitor in the lighter market. On February 3, 2010, the deal was finalized.

Glasses
It is said that the Roman emperor Nero liked to watch gladiator fights with emeralds. These, however, appear to have worked rather like mirrors.Flat panes of smoky quartz which offered no corrective powers but did protect the eyes from glare were used in China in the 12th century or possibly earlier. Contemporary documents describe the use of such crystals by judges in Chinese courts to conceal their facial expressions while questioning witnesses..
James Ayscough began experimenting with tinted lenses in spectacles in the mid-18th century, around 1752. These were not "sunglasses" as such; Ayscough believed blue- or green-tinted glass could correct for specific vision impairments. Protection from the sun's rays was not a concern for him.
Yellow/amber and brown-tinted spectacles were also a commonly-prescribed item for people with syphilis in the 19th[dubious – discuss] and early 20th centuries because sensitivity to light was one of the symptoms of the disease.
In prehistoric and historic time, Inuit peoples wore flattened walrus ivory "glasses," looking through narrow slits to block harmful reflected rays of the sun.

Dance
Dance (from French danser, perhaps from Frankish) is an art form that generally refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music,[1] used as a form of expression, social interaction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting.
Dance may also be regarded as a form of nonverbal communication between humans, and is also performed by other animals (bee dance, patterns of behaviour such as a mating dance). Gymnastics, figure skating and synchronized swimming are sports that incorporate dance, while martial arts kata are often compared to dances. Motion in ordinarily inanimate objects may also be described as dances (the leaves danced in the wind).
Definitions of what constitutes dance are dependent on social, cultural, aesthetic, artistic and moral constraints and range from functional movement (such as folk dance) to virtuoso techniques such as ballet. Dance can be participatory, social or performed for an audience. It can also be ceremonial, competitive or erotic. Dance movements may be without significance in themselves, such as in ballet or European folk dance, or have a gestural vocabulary/symbolic system as in many Asian dances. Dance can embody or express ideas, emotions or tell a story.
Dancing has evolved many styles. Breakdancing and Krumping are related to the hip hop culture. African dance is interpretive. Ballet, Ballroom, Waltz, and Tango are classical styles of dance while Square and the Electric Slide are forms of step dances.
Every dance, no matter what style, has something in common. It not only involves flexibility and body movement, but also physics. If the proper physics is not taken into consideration, injuries may occur.
Choreography is the art of creating dances. The person who creates (i.e., choreographs) a dance is known as the choreographer.

Campus Fashion
Students have being known for many things but their sense of style has never top of the list.... Student fashion faux pars have included - tank tops, dungarees, anything tie-dyed, beavis and butthead T-shirts and Jesus sandals.
However a new breed of generation X students are bringing fashion to the for-front. Their attitude is "just because we are students doesn't mean we have to look bad". They have shrugged off the scruffy image they were once famous for and adopted a new urban cool image. The idea is not to impersonate celebrities and or to look grown up, its the total opposite.
They are trying to be individualistic and to create a student culture that has been absent in style and substance since the 70s, however this time there is no political message, today's students are using fashion to achieve their aims.
Students are notoriously broke, and so they cannot rely on expensive designer labels to look good but instead favor street brands such as Punkyfish, high street shop H&M, and trainers by Converse.
It seems that if you are into fashion there has never been a better time to be student.

Stylist hair
Most men do care for their hair when they wake up. But getting the perfect men’s hairstyles can be quite the challenge. The hairstyle can completely alter your appearance — for better or worse. Which styles are popular now and which one will make you look better?
Men crew cut – The short crew cut is a very hot look for men with oval facial shapes and normal sized heads, but it isn’t suitable for guys with abnormal head shapes, big ears, or other abnormal features.
Short, tousled Cut – This man’s hairstyle provides a very strong look and it is a very popular for guys. This style is very comfortable as well. You can use a strong gel like American Crew styling gel to keep the hairstyle in place. You can choose the tousled, messy look as well.
Long Hairstyle for Men – The long hairstyle is an option for some guys out there. Lots of male celebrities have donned longer hairstyles.
Men’s Hairstyles are not as complicated as women’s hairstyles, but you sill have many ways to do your hair. Styling aids are very important for men because they make a huge difference to the grooming of the hair. There are lots of hairstyle products you can choose. The mousses and gels are used as part of a daily routine.

I’m Gonna Party.. Like It’s My Birthday!
(29-05-1988)It’s my birthday!! I’m not sure how you tend to approach your day of birth but I am inclined to remind everyone for a few weeks prior that a certain amount of years ago today I was born. It’s not as if I think everyone needs to stop what they are doing, bake a cake, throw a party, sing happy birthday and rename this day “Official Megan Day”. But if you wanted to I wouldn’t stop you. And if you have been wondering what to get me for my birthday, which I am sure you have spent literally seconds thinking about, you can play my three favorite games!
Even More Bloons!
Bloons and I met one overcast San Francisco day. I was the new kid at AG and Bloons was just this little Monkey nominated for “Best Performance by a Monkey” at the AG Showdown. Who is this monkey? Why should I vote for him? I played. And with one throw of the dart I was hooked.
Red Remover
I play this game for the smiley faces and the encouraging “Yay!” received when you pass a level. It’s the little things in life that really get me, clearly.
Squzzle
High Score? Check! Puzzle? Check! Addicting? Check! Fill up each square with the puzzle pieces and clear the square use all the same color pieces in the square and clear the level. I have one “friend” (read: enemy) I can’t beat and it keeps me coming back for more.

Cow Boy
A cowboy is an animal herder who tends cattle on ranches in North America, traditionally on horseback, and often performs a multitude of other ranch-related tasks. The historic American cowboy of the late 19th century arose from the vaquero traditions of northern Mexico and became a figure of special significance and legend.[1] A subtype, called a wrangler, specifically tends the horses used to work cattle. In addition to ranch work, some cowboys work for or participate in rodeos. Cowgirls, first defined as such in the late 19th century, had a less-well documented historical role, but in the modern world have established the ability to work at virtually identical tasks and obtained considerable respect for their achievements.[2] There are also cattle handlers in many other parts of the world, particularly South America and Australia, who perform work similar to the cowboy in their respective nations.
The cowboy has deep historic roots tracing back to Spain and the earliest settlers of the Americas. Over the centuries, differences in terrain, climate and the influence of cattle-handling traditions from multiple cultures created several distinct styles of equipment, clothing and animal handling. As the ever-practical cowboy adapted to the modern world, the cowboy's equipment and techniques also adapted to some degree, though many classic traditions are still preserved today.

Tattoo
If everyone could design their own tattoos, there would be no need for tattoo flash or other types of design reference. But, not all of us are great artists or understand how to create tattoo-friendly designs. Tattooing is an art form with distinct limitations and, despite the artistic ability of your tattooist, not all of your ideas can be translated (easily or at all) to a tattoo design that will look good and last over time. The reality is that most tattoos require high-quality, tattoo-friendly design reference to apply your tattoo and to make sure you get exactly what you expected. So what are your options?
